John, aka
Quilt Dad, man-quilter extraordinaire and all around great guy, was so kind to work with
Cut Out & Keep for our last quilt market. Plus, it was quilted by the supremely talented
Angela Walters. When we saw the sketch of his ideas we, of course, were ecstatic- the scissor motif was perfect for the range. We also thought it was a great block for just about any crafty person and envisioned crafty people hanging this up on a wall in their studios, or in a pillow for their favorite knitting chair. It's simply crafty goodness!
I was so delighted to see the pattern available in the latest issue of
Fat Quarterly, an e-zine that taking the quilting world by storm. As they put it, it's
for modern sewists, by modern sewists." It features a different theme each issue (this quarter's - issue 6- theme is about working with alternative fabrics) and features projects from today's hottest quilters. You can
purchase the single issue for only $8.00 or get a
yearly subscription right to your inbox.
I just love John's designs! And this one is awesome in your fabric!!
