Introducing | iHaus by Michelle Engel Bencsko

First and foremost, we want to express our deepest concern and good wishes to everyone who was hit by Sandy. Cloud9 HQ is in New Jersey and we're currently without power (as is Michelle's home) however, all things considered, we are very fortunate to have sustained such minimal damage and inconvenience. We hope to have things back to normal by the end of the week, but with an impending Nor'easter, we can only hope things don't get driven more off track. We appreciate everyone's kind thoughts and good vibes... keep 'em coming!

There are two relief giveaways going on right now, so please consider a donation to help get people back on their feet in the face of such devastation to our area.

Fabric Shopper and Gather Here are hosting raffles and Cloud9 Fabrics are among the prizes offered. Please help if you can!

Now, in efforts to keep things going and in the positive flow, we'd love to share with you one of the latest collections we debuted at Quilt Market.

iHaus by Michelle Engel Benscko: The Bauhaus (1919-1933) was a German school of art that combined craft and the fine arts and would forever change the future of visual arts. Quintessentially modern in its day many of the artists who emerged from this school embraced a primary palette: red, blue and yellw and simple shapes: circles, triangles and squares. Michelle expands on this theme with her own contemporary perspective. iHaus draws from today’s trends while paying tribute to the art that continues to inspire generations. Due to ship March '13.

  1. If I had made it over to your booth while QM was actually going on, I'm certain I would have passed out upon seeing this collection! Fantastic!
