Monsterz are coming! They are on a big ship, crossing a vast ocean, and no doubt having all sorts of fantastic adventurez. In preparation for their long overdue arrival, we're going to throw a little pre-arrival celebration for them.

ReplyDeleteGosh, these fabrics are just the cutest! I'd love to sew up some cute accessories for some of the kids in my life--bags, little card holders (I remember holding onto every card I came across as a kid), maybe use as an accent on some garments. Cute!
ReplyDeleteI have been making burp cloths using your pattern for my grandson who is due in 7 weeks. I would use this for more burp cloths. So easy and I love finding different ways to dress them up using ribbons & other embellishments I have in my stash.

Monsterz are coming! We have a grandniece nicknamed little monster and another named herself bugz. Each could have a skirt. The rest will go into a lovely quilt for a third grandniece that "I owe" a baby quilt. Any leftovers will be used for something for me. LOL

Those pillow cases look like a good idea... sleeping with monsters is better than being scared of them!
ReplyDeleteQuite probably an adventure into making some quilts for the many babies of friends that are due in the next few months.
ReplyDeleteWhatever I did, it would be an adventure. I'm not much of a sower!
ReplyDeleteI'd make a tent for my nephew so that we can hide in it while stalking monsters and aliens. Or a sail for a big ship so we can explore the seven seas together. Or a random patched quilt that can be both of those!
ReplyDeleteI like making trousers for my little boy with plain legs and fancy cuffs so some fabric would definitely end up there. Also tnics with fancy facings, and if there's any left over, a quilt.
