To Market, To Market!

After months of preparation, we're finally near the end of the tunnel. We leave next Friday for the International Quilt Market in Houston. We are SO pumped about this show... we have loads of good stuff to show. Here's a recap of our current releases and a teaser of some of the previews we'll be showing.

Maman and Nursery Basics are shipping NOW. If you're looking for a seller for this gorgeous range of prints based on the artwork Anne Marie Bossaert, drop us a note and we'll let you know who's getting it first. We'll be showing off some amazing quilts and other lovely little children's items at the show.

Across the Pond is still going strong- lots of gorgeous samples will be on display. Fall is in full swing now and the orange colors that are prevalent are just perfect for the season.

Of course, many of you are already familiar with Alegria by Geninne- not sure that we'll have strike-offs in time, but we will be showing the boards up close and personal.

Monsterz by Michéle Brummer-Everett is unfortunately still in development, so we're experiencing a delay in getting the goods. We have the pedal to the metal though and we're trying to get it in before the end of the year January. So many people are excited by this collection and it's easy to see why. Stay tuned for delivery dates!

We're so proud to be premiering Ed Emberley's Happy Drawing! This delightful collection of iconic characters from Emberley's first how-to-draw publication, Drawing Book of Animals is sure to please. Animals are constructed of simple shapes, letters, numbers and things and put together in typical Emberley fashion- that is to say, animated with character, humor and whimsy. Perfect for kids, but also adults who remember Emberley's work as kids themselves. Colorful and playful- our booth will be bursting with cuteness!

We've got something swell on deck from June Craft aka Kayanna Nelson. Hey, That's Swell! is chock full of retro goodness and is part of our Cloud9 Kids series. Kayanna has crafted an assortment of prints that will suit many kids' tastes, but particularly those between 5 to15. Not too cute, not too stuffy. Cheery and hip. Plus, she's put together some special projects that are great for the beginner sewist to get those young ones motivated!

Michéle Brummer-Everett is at it again, this time she sets sail on the Seven Seas! As adorable as her Monsterz are they may meet their match with the little laddies and poppets that star in this new range. Bold, bright color mixed with whimsy and imagination. Another Cloud9 Kids selection!

Remember Michelle Engel Bencsko? Yeah, sometimes she designs stuff too. It's been a while, though and she was inspired recently to do something a little out of the norm from her other Cloud9 selections. simpatico is a color driven selection of geometric-based patterns. As the name implies, simpatico is easy to get along with. It can make friends with lots of styles, decors, fashions, and colors. It draws from today's popular trends and colors yet can also be called timeless.
