Our time at the Fall 2010 International Quilt Market was a great success, if not causing us to be a little worn from wear...! Definitely a thrill, but most certainly exhausting. Happy to be home and to get back to work. And work we have!
We are happy to announce the addition of 17 lovely shops, many of which have ordered My Happy Nursery and pre-ordered Nature Walk and the premier collection by one of our no-longer-secret artists, Heather Moore of Skinny laMinx.
Other artists on board for our Designer Series are Julia Rothman and Geninne Zlatkis. We received some excitable response to this trio of talent and we can hardly wait to broadcast the collections more fully- however, it's still a bit early in the game: Heather's is due in April, Julia's in July and Geninne's in October. So, stay tuned and when the time comes, we'll be sharing all of the goodies with you. But if you're really keen for a glimpse, you can squint your eyes for two mock-up pillows/presentations in the pics below. Also, I believe some media and buying folks were a little more focused on the pillows, so there will be opportunity to catch the leaks into blogland. For more on our artists, click on the links to their sites, or you can read this brochure we created.
Cloud9 Fabrics is well into our 2nd year and it was really a joy to hear that word is spreading about us and our product. We met so many (too many to name!) wonderful people and had the opportunity to re-visit with others we've been pals with since we started. The quilt market is an exciting and friendly place and Gina and I couldn't be more thrilled to be a part of it. Thanks to all our fans and readers for your support, too! We had numerous shops tell us that customers have asked for us by name and that there is a rising interest in organic goods. How cool is that?!
If you are one of our guests who snapped a pic and posted it somewhere, please be sure to leave a link in the comments!
