Giveaway | Forest Friends Flannel

September is here. There's a decidedly autumnal quality to the air lately. Certainly the days are growing shorter, the mornings are darker and all the kids are out of the house.

Forest Friends Flannel bundle

Seems like a perfect time to sew! And to help one of you to get going, we're having a little overdue giveaway here. The prize: a fat quarter bundle of all 9 items in the Forest Flannel Friends collection. Plenty to make a cozy lap quilt or a mat for outdoor snoozing on the lawn, some fun pillows for the kids, stuffed animals or well, we don't know... you tell US!

  8. I have been re-fashioning some clothes for my kidlets and patches and appliques made of these would be a PERFECT addition. (especially since we're all so fond of the woodland creatures around here) I would probably have to make a coordinating creature out of some too.

  26. I meant to make small flannel pillows to take camping this summer (they will take up less space, and fit inside our sleeping bags if it's chilly) but I never got around to it. If I win then I'll make them over the winter, so I have them ready for next summer. The forest friends would be just perfect for when we are camping in Algonquin Park, Ontario

  145. My little guy needs a cozy cover to his tricycle handle bar. It's one piece across that has that superdense foam split around it, he just needs something outdoorzy to make it look inviting. And maybe some jim jams to match so he can dream of riding his bike when he sleeps!

I know the weather gets really, really cold during the winter and an extra flannel quilt for the baby will be welcomed.
